Directions by Motorway
Approaching from the NW or SE along the M6, leave at Junction 6 (signposted Birmingham Central) to join the A38 (M). At the end of the motorway keep to the right, go over a flyover, then through three underpasses to join the A38 Bristol Road. The University is on your right two and a half miles from the City Centre.
Approaching from the SW, leave the M5 at Junction 4 (signposted Birmingham SW) to join the A38. The University is on the left of the A38 Bristol Road approximately eight miles from the motorway.
The approach to the University from the M40 and M42 through the southern suburbs can be confusing. It is easier to turn south on the M42 and leave at Junction 1 to join the A38 and then drive north to the Campus.

As you come through Selly Oak on the A38, look out for the Gun Barrels pub on the corner of Edgbaston Park Road. The main entrance to the University is on Edgbaston Park Road, approximately 500 yards up the hill on your left.
