Intel Rackmount Enclosure with 2.5" SAS/SATA drives can offer new usage models for a 1U server platform. SAS implementation eliminates drive cables while providing integrated manageability with upgrade options. Configurations with RAID5 with hot spare or RAID5 array for data with a separate RAID1 array for Operating System SFF drives & SAS RAID increase data protection and HDD I/O performance. Intel Rackmount Enclosure is designed for increased uptime and tool free serviceability.
