The perfect solution for sharing files and applications between computers, making high-speed backups, and portability at the touch of a button, the IDECASE25U2B includes a unique One-Button backup feature. Allowing data transfer at rates up to an incredible 480 Mb/sec, this hard drive enclosure is designed for use with 2.5" IDE hard drives (9.5mm and 12mm) and can be used with either Mac or PC (USB 2.0 connection required). As well, the case hot-swap feature allows you to connect and disconnect it when needed, without ever having to reboot your computer. The silver aluminum case design protects your hard drive and keeps it cool, and its sleek and slim design makes it extremely portable - the perfect solution for laptop users and mobile applications.
